Privacy policy

Your phone number, to sign you in with a code sent by SMS. Your name, the language you use, and whether you play or run a stadium. If you set a password, only a scrambled form of it is stored.

Your bookings: the stadium, pitch, time, price, whether it was paid, the 4-digit gate code and when the team arrived.

Match lobbies: the names of people who answer "I'm in" or "I'm out", including guests who type a name on the website.

For stadium owners: the stadium's name, district, address and phone number, its cover photo, its location if you choose to pin it with your phone's location, and the phone bookings you enter, with the name and phone number you type in.

A push notification token for your phone, so we can tell you about bookings.

To stop abuse of login codes, the IP address of each code request and login attempt is kept for 2 days, and a record of each SMS we send (the number and whether it was delivered, never the code) is kept to look into codes that did not arrive.

The owner of a stadium you book sees your name and phone number for that booking, so they can reach you about the game.

Anyone with a match link sees the stadium, the time, the price per player and the names of the people who answered. The gate code is shown only to the captain who booked.

Stadium details and photos are public in the app, so players can find them.

Our server and database run on Railway, in the EU. The website and stadium photos are served by Cloudflare. Login codes go out through an SMS gateway. Push notifications go through Expo and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Each of them handles your data only to provide that service to us.

salax.app sets no cookies and has no trackers. It counts a few things, such as visits and clicks on the download button, as daily totals that contain nothing about who you are. Your browser keeps your language choice and the name you used in a match lobby on your own device.

Your account and bookings are kept until you delete your account. How deletion works is described on the account deletion page.

In the app, open Profile, then Delete account. This removes your account, name and phone number for good. You can also ask us to do it; see the account deletion page.

Salax is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
